Violet Higgins (née McCoubrey)
At the age of 93 years, Mrs. Violet Higgins passed away at the University Institute of cardiology and pneumology of Quebec, on august 23, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Mr. George McCoubrey.
Cherished mother of : Melvin (Louise Bourdeau), Ross (Karen Hewerdine) of Victoria, Australia. Proud grandmother of : Lucy, Dennis, Jayde, Madeleine, Sarah and Jordan, great grandmother of Phelix ; predeceased by her sisters Jean (late William Cochlin), Elva (late Henry McKinley), predeceased by her brothers James (late Tilly), Kenneth (late Rita); her brothers and sisters-in-law: late Myrthel (late Lloyd Oliver), late Bernice (late Henry Leblanc), late Henry (late Edna Boyd), William (Verna Clarke), John (Late Lois McKinley, late Alice Paquet), Late Raymond (Marjorie Lavallée), Iona (late Stanley Wood), and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral to be held Saturday September 4, 2010 at St-Andrew's Presbyterian church, 1827, boulevard Valcartier, St-Gabriel de Valcartier at 15 h. The family will receive condolences one hour before the service.
The family would like to thank the administration and the staff at Résidence Ste-Geneviève.
